1. Once a day, find one employee who is doing exactly what he/she is supposed to be doing - nothing special, nothing above and beyond the call of duty, just doing what he/she is paid to do. Tell that person that you noticed that he/she was doing the job right, say thank you, and go back to your office. Do this every day and see what happens!

2. At your next staff meeting (or any meeting) start off with a "recognition moment." Recognize someone in the meeting for displaying one of your core values or company mission. Be specific and share how the individual contributed to them. Make it a meeting tradition.

3. Morning or afternoon huddles. Do you gather your team daily to touch base? At the closing, have a recognition moment to share with your team.
